Beautifying Stout’s Front Yard

Some very dedicated staff members and students donated their time and tools to help beautify the front of their school. They trimmed trees and bushes, removed weed and wood chips, and cleaned up. To every one of them: THANK YOU!

Hneen Aun wins books for all of her classmates!

Our student, Hneen Aun, submitted her name into a drawing and she, and each of her classmates, won a book from the DFT Community Outreach Committee at the Dearborn Homecoming Drawing sponsored by the DFT and FirstBook. That was pretty cool!  Superintendent, Dr. Glenn Maleyko visited Ms. Wooton’s class shortly after to congratulate and snap a super-selfie with all of the kids. A small action made a big difference to all these kids, and now thanks to Hneen, nobody in our 4th hour should be without a silent reading book, at least for a bit! Thanks – Julie Wooton & Michelle Hosler.
