Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and Joyful Holidays

On behalf of Stout Middle School, we would like to wish you Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and Joyful Holidays. Let us enjoy the winter break and whatever we celebrate, take a moment or two to reflect on 2017, learn from our mistakes, build on our successes, and move forward towards our goals. All the best to everyone.

Students’ Corner

Jacob Marley from Charles DickensChristmas on Carol says:

“I wear the chains I forged in life….. I made it a link by link and a yard by yard; I girded it on of my own free will, and on my own free will I wore it.”

Our friend Majd Nasser thought it was a great quote to share. Do you agree? I certainly do.

Ugly Sweater Late Start Day

After a delicious breakfast, our staff looked great. They would have looked even better if Ms. Cizek, Mr. Lambdin, Mr. Tindall, Mr. Haddad, Mrs. Nasser, Mr. Baydoun, and Mr. Sabra were in the picture.

No Games Club this Friday

Due to it being the last day before break, there will be no Games Club this Friday, Dec. 22.  Games Club will resume on Friday, January 12th, 2018 with all new board games, never played before! Thanks – Mr. Melvin

“Your good is better and your better is best!”

Don’t want to settle for less and always aim higher.

Students’ Corner Quote of the Week

Again, our students are making it difficult for me to pick up a winner for the Students’ Corner Quote of the week. Every quote I received was a worthy winner, but I had to pick one, so here it is:

“Don’t complain about things you are not willing to change!”

The quote was sent to us by Sabeha Alnakash who wins a pie. Please let Mr. Sabra know what kind you prefer: Za’atar, cheese, meat, or spinach.

Delicious Cookies from the Vicary Family

The Vicary family dropped off trays of cookies, along with a beautiful card, for our wonderful staff to enjoy. On behalf of our administration, staff, and teachers, THANK YOU.

P.S. the cheese cake tray was delicious and addictive. Our secretaries had to drag me out of the room because I could have devoured the whole thing on my own!!!!
