On Friday, April 26, most Dearborn Public Schools will highlight the great ways they are working to improve their school environment and grow future leaders during the second annual Care to the Core Day. Each school will participate in an activity centered on helping students resolve conflicts, understanding the impacts of their behaviors, and creating a safer school environment. Keep on reading ….
- Theater Parent meeting at 5:30 pm tonight (Monday, April 8).
- Book Fair all week;
- Bake Sales;
- Parent Teacher Conferences from 4:00 – 7:00 pm, Thursday, April 11 (including fundraiser food sales);
- PTA meeting at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, April 10;
Please come to the PTA meeting on Wednesday to give PTA your board nominations. If you can’t make it, feel free to post them on the PTA Facebook page.
On Tuesday, April 9, 2019, Grade 8 students at Stout Middle School will start their PSAT test. Please make sure that your child to be in his class room at 8:00 am sharp, otherwise, he won’t be allowed to take the test. The school will have to pull your child out of his regular classes the next day to complete the test which results in a loss of about 3 hours of learning.
Also, make sure your child gets enough sleep tonight so that he/she is rested and ready for the test.
Please, join us for a presentation and parents’ discussion about the Internet Safety for our children. Education materials will be provided. Arabic translation will be provided if needed.
