We’ve had an encouraging start to the National Geography Bee contest. There seems to be a real interest in this competition and we hope it continues. The prizes are significant: $85,000 in College Scholarships, $5,000 in cash rewards, Lifetime subscription in National Geographic, in addition to national recognition as the finals will be aired on national TV.
All you have to do is register with Mr. Sabra or Mr. Bennett, or just let your social studies teacher know and he / she will email your name to either one of them.
