STOUT MIDDLE SCHOOL

Breast Cancer Awareness Month at Stout

We want our students to be knowledgeable of causes and issues that impact the world.

October is nationally known as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  There will be pink ribbons made from paper in the office and available in the lunchroom for students who wish to write their name on it and show support to anyone who they know experienced Cancer.

Of course, it is optional. For some, this show of support can be a way to help loved ones cope as well.

Thank you Mrs. Atkinson for creating the template. I will put these up in the hallways as they are returned to the office or given to me at lunch.

Our wonderful new PTSO will start selling pink bandanas, masks, and ribbons so students and staff can wear them on  October 22, which will be our first annual Stout Pink Out Day (which is also National Pink Out Day). Parents are also welcomed to purchase pink gear to show support of this cause. Thank you!
