Dearborn Special Olympics Invites You to be Active

DearbornSpecialOlympicsHere is a great opportunity to help our students be more active! Dearborn Special Olympics gives students the opportunity to be active with other students of the same ability level. Every Tuesday during the school year Dearborn Special Olympics meets at Bryant Middle School from 6:15 until 7:30 pm.

  • They offer different sports throughout the year: soccer, poly hockey, basketball, track and field and bicycling.
  • They compete in area events as well as state games.
  • They also offer bowling at Cherry Hill Lanes from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon.
  • There is absolutely no cost to the athletes or their families.

If you want to check it out and see if it’s something your student would like to participate in, feel free to stop by any Tuesday until the end of the school year and try it out.

For more info, please contact Mrs. Jackson who is the Dearborn Special Olympics Coordinator at 313-515-3966 or Dawn who is a parent helper at dowey1@msn.com
