The Stout MathCounts Team competed today in the MathCounts Competition Series held by the Michigan Society of Professional Engineers. We are very proud that our students made it to the second round in their first year of competition. The students who participated in this very rigorous math contest represented Stout Middle School in a fabulous way and they enjoyed the experience! We are aiming to making it to the State Finals next year. In the meantime, our students gained the insight to how the process works, the rigor of the math problem solving involved, and how fun competing in academic competitions are. We are truly proud of our Falcons at Stout!
