After a year and half of virtual learning, we really want to encourage students to have opportunities to “socialize with each other in a positive manner” as much as possible.
Yesterday was the first day of Ramadan fasting for many of our students and they seemed very happy.
Students had fun playing chess, checkers, card games such as UNO, reading the books that they purchased from the Scholastic Book Fair and others chose to complete assignments on their chromebooks.
After seeing the students’ positive energy during their social interaction at lunch, I went out and purchased many more board games and card games so even more students can join in the fun through this great opportunity to socialize.
Reminder — the Scholastic Book Fair will be available to students to view and purchase all of this week during their lunch time the cafeteria hallway.
