Mr. Melvin needs your help to design a tie for him to wear. Using a blank piece of paper and your artistic skills, design a colorful tie based on a great book you’ve read recently. It can feature characters, scenes, action, or even words from the book you chose.
On a separate sheet of paper, write one paragraph about your drawing and how it represents the book you chose.
Entries are due by Friday, March 22nd to Mr. Melvin in room D-4.
This contest is open to all students at Stout who would like to win $25 to spend at the Stout’s Scholastic book fair. First place and runners up will receive $5 coupons for a free book from the Scholastic Book Order.
