STOUT MIDDLE SCHOOL

Religious Diversity Journeys

Religious Diversity Journeys continues to grow! For the 2017-2018 academic year more than 700 7th graders in Michigan will benefit from immersive educational journeys in churches, mosques, synagogues and temples. This year there are 5 distinct groups (cohorts) of students, representing more than one dozen public school districts and about seven private schools.  Specifically, for our district, approximately 50 seventh graders will participate in the journeys.

We want to continue to highlight that the main purpose of these journeys is to teach our students about others and for them to understand that many commonalities exist that connect us to one another in positive ways.

Interested 7th grade students can pick up an application packet from Mr. Haddad in the counseling office.
