Current 7th grade students must meet three of the following options in order to be placed in Algebra 1 for 8th grade.
- Score Proficient or Advanced on 6th grade math M-Step
- Earn an winter NWEA Math RIT score of 234 or higher (7.8 GE)
- Earn 85% or higher (a grade of B or higher) by March 13
- Receive an exemplary or proficient recommendation from their current math teacher
Current 6th grade students must meet three of the following options in order to be placed in Pre-Algebra for 7th grade.
- Score Proficient or Advanced on 5th grade math M Step
- Earn an winter NWEA Math RIT score of 230 or higher (6.8 GE)
- Earn 85% or higher (a grade of a B or higher) by March 13
- Receive an exemplary or proficient recommendation from their current math teacher
