More than 45 Dearborn Public School staff are getting a full 4 days training on Restorative Practices. The plan is to expand this training district-wise to enable all of our staff to use these practices to reduce punitive measures such as detentions, suspensions, conferences, etc…) and increase restorative methods that allow students more time in their class rooms to learn. The training is taking place at Stout Middle School, a leader in implementing restorative practices in Dearborn and Michigan.
