At the very end, one of the two great finalists in the 2016 Spelling Bee Contest dropped the first “i” from “probability“, while the other didn’t. That made all the difference in a well-fought battle. 8th grader, Zeinab Alhashemi managed a very narrow win against 7th grader, Maya Moreau.
Both were amazing, along with all the other contestants who buzzed and worked hard. Congratulations to all of our contestants, and to Mr. Bennett for all the work he’d done. Thanks to Ms. Klemetson as well for being an honorable judge!
