Stout Recognizes “Breast Cancer Awareness Month” in October

Stout Middle School students, parents and staff recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October to increase knowledge of the disease, understand how to take preventative measures, and to support breast cancer patients and/or for those who have loved ones with this illness.

Physicians from Beaumont Hospital will be speaking to our science classes at Stout on October 21 about the illness.

Our school wide “Pink Out” days are October 19 and October 27, which are the two days designated for staff and students to wear their pink gear to show their support for this cause. The PTSO are selling the Pink Out items each day during lunch.
