The students at Stout put on a great play for other students and parents called “The First Thanksgiving.”
What makes this performance extra special is that all of the students in this play have been in the United States for less than two years and came to Stout having very little to zero English skills.
Thank your Mrs. Hojeije, Mrs. Abu-Hamdan, Mrs. Makled, and Mrs. Anani for all of your hard work to help our students succeed with this amazing activity that integrated reading, writing, listening, speaking and presenting in such a powerful way as students learn about American traditions.
