Nomination forms for the annual Alberta Muirhead Teacher of the Year Awards will be available mid-March. The annual awards are sponsored by the Dearborn Area Chamber of Commerce and recognize four special teachers in Dearborn.
Electronic forms will be available on-line via the Dearborn Public Schools website, www.dearbornschools.org, and the and the Chamber of Commerce website, www.dearbornareachamber.org
The nomination process is easy and includes a short essay written by the nominating students explaining why their teacher is special.
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony At 4:15pm on Wednesday, May 11 at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center.
