The Stout Middle School Debate Club absolutely crushed it! Their arguments (both the proposition and the opposition) were sharp, their delivery was confident, and they really impressed the judges. The opposing teams debated on the following two topics: “If schools should mandate homework for all students” on Thursday and “If free lunch should be a federal mandate in public schools” on Friday. The students wowed the audience with their articulate speech, evidence to back their views, and professionalism in their public speech. They’re a force to be reckoned with!
