First day of school is always interesting, to say the least. The various faces, some familiar and some not so familiar, express a wide array of emotions ranging from excitement to bewilderness and many other shades in between. Looking at all the students always reminds me of all the challenges that all of us, administrators, teachers, staff, and students – not to forget the parents – have ahead of us. Shying away from these challenges is not an option and so we arm ourselves with hope and determination and set ourselves to do our best. WELCOME BACK!
I know that many of you (and us too) wish that the summer holiday was a bit longer, but this is how life goes and we are back to school. Let us make the most out of it. This is a chance to make new friends, to improve on last year, to correct some of the mistakes that all of us do every now and then, or to achieve something we really want.
Welcome back to school and remember that we (administrators, teachers, and staff) are here to help you, so do not hesitate to ask for help if you need it.
