PBIS Reward Day: “Wonder” at Star Fairlane: Monday, Dec. 4th

Our first PBIS Reward Day will be this coming Monday, Dec. 4th. All of our students who met the school’s expected behavior (arriving to class on time, by demonstrating appropriate hallway and lunchroom behavior, and by consistently meeting the class norms established by each class period) will attend the new Movie WONDER at Star Fairlane Theater.  The movie, based on the novel, tells the story of Auggie, a boy who was born with facial deformities as he enters a regular school for the first time. Some students are warm and welcoming but others are not as empathetic.

Our students will bring home a permission slip that needs to be signed by parents and sent back no later than this Wednesday, Nov. 26th. The tickets were offered to our students at a discounted price of $5 per student. The price covers for the transportation as well.

For more information, please download the pdf file CONGRATULATIONS.

Here is a clip of the movie.

Stout distributes 46 turkeys for the Thanksgiving Holiday

Stout Middle School distributed 46 turkeys for the Thanksgiving Holiday. The winning students were drawn a week before the event and calls were made to the parents / guardians. We hope that the students and their families enjoyed their dinners and had a great time. The turkeys were available to our school thanks to Hype Athletics Recreation Center (20 turkeys), Express Poultry and Fish (16 turkeys),  and Dearborn Christian Fellowship (10 turkeys).

Welcome Back to School

Well, The Thanksgiving break is over, and Stout Middle School welcomes back its body of administrators, staff, and students. We hope that you’ve had a great time and enjoyed your turkeys, or whatever food you chose for the celebration. Be thankful for all the good things we have and enjoy it. Let’s work hard as we look forward to the next holiday – NOT VERY FAR.
