Boys Basketball Team loses two hard breakers

This week, Stout Boys Basketball Team battled hard but lost 2 hard fought games by the tiniest of margins. Salina edged our boys by a score of 36 – 34, then Woodworth won 46 – 42.

The kids – and the coaches – took these 2 losses hard, but hey, you win some, you lose sum. Keep your chins up. You tried and we are proud of you!

Marcus williams shared this great quote by Evan Carmichael.

“The reason why people give up so fast is because they tend to look at how far they still have to go instead of how far they have gotten!”

Thanks Marcus for encouraging us to think positively!

Stout thanks AMC Classic Fairlane and Village Ford

Stout Middle School would like to thank the AMC Classic Fairlane and Village Ford for being a part of Stout Middle School PBIS Reward Day on Monday, Dec. 04, 2017. AMC Classic Fairlane gave us reduced ticket and concession prices, while Village Ford donated money towards the buses, thus allowing around 800 students who showed good behaviour during the 1st marking period  to watch the movie Wonder. Students who missed on this opportunity, stayed at school and went through some circles and activities to explain the school’s expectations and how not to miss on our 2nd PBIS Reward Day. According to most of the teachers who chaperoned the kids to the theater, the overwhelming majority of the attendants behaved well and conducted themselves in a very respectful manner.

Photos to follow!

Thanks again to AMC Classic Fairlane and Village Ford.
