The 28th annual Empty Bowls event returns to Dearborn on Nov. 25. The annual fundraiser offers a simple meal of soup and bread and visitors are invited to take home an empty, handmade bowl to remind them of those who will go hungry.Empty Bowls will run from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Park Place Banquet Hall, 23400 Park St., Dearborn. Money raised will go to Gleaners Food Bank and Blessings in a Backpack, local charities that help feed those in need.
