Over the weekend, three of your 6th grade Falcons, Arianna Caperton, Riley DeTone, and Evelyn Oaks, all competed as members of Dearborn Heights Elite Cheer at the Champion Force – State of Michigan Cheerleading competition in Grand Rapids, MI. The event was held at the DeltaPlex on January 19-20, 2019. Cheer teams from all over the state who qualified at Regional competitions were invited to attend. Riley’s team – Dearborn Heights Glamour, placed fourth in Division 5 Small. Evelyn and Arianna’s team – Dearborn Heights Legends, are State Champions in Division 7 Large. Both teams qualified for this year’s National Competition, which will be held in Orlando, FL in July, 2019.In addition to their studies, these young ladies put in hours of tumbling and cheer practices each week. We are very proud of their accomplishments! If you see them, please tell them “Congratulations!” and “Good Luck at Nationals!”
