At Stout, we adhere to the WSCC (whole school, whole community, whole child) model supported by the CDC and our local intermediate school district, Wayne-RESA.
To further that support, we are excited to offer families presentations during our February 7th “Coffee with the Principal” meeting.
Counselors with Stay Well will present information on the signs and symptoms of anxiety and depression. They will also review how these symptoms manifest themselves and how families can help their students.
We are hoping that you’ll join us for this very important half-hour! As research shows, students who have strong emotional intelligence also do better academically in their classes.
Please complete the survey in the link below to let us know who to expect at this meeting so our presenters can incorporate your personal questions into the presentation. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me (Mrs. Abdelbaki) at 313-827-4604.
