We want all of our students to understand the “very rich” history behind the man that their school is named after. Students and staff are encouraged to wear their Stout shirts Wednesday. Cupcakes will be delivered to each classroom on Wednesday afternoon for all staff and students to celebrate the birthday of William B. Stout (March 16, 1880- March 20, 1956).
This pictures of the “Stout Scarab,” which were prototypes that were introduced by the company Stout founded in 1932 called the “Stout Motor Car Company.” He also started the “Stout Engineering Company” that was located in Dearborn. This was in addition to the airplanes that his company was producing. This is all very cool history that our students should know. Bringing history alive is important and inspirational, especially to those who are connected to it.
