The Stout Middle School Staff have contributed their personal funds to start our very 1st Stout Scholarship Fund this year that recognizes a graduating high school senior who attended Stout Middle School for 6th-8h grade. The application was sent to the high schools. The students’ applications, transcripts, and essays are processed and the recipient is selected through the Dearborn Education Foundation to ensure that the process is fair. We are happy to announce that the 1st recipient of the Stout Middle School Scholarship is Edsel Ford High School senior, Hannan Mozip.
Here is a picture of our scholarship recipient as she received the award at the Green Tie Event that was held this past week by the Education Foundation. Hannan will be attending the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in the fall in pursuit of a neurobiology degree to become a physician.
