8th Grade technology students will spend today, Tuesday, March 12th without the use of their non-dominate hand. From 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, students will wear a tag indicating that they are not using this arm as part of their biotechnology unit. Last week, students worked with Mrs. Fulton on learning about ways in which people can live normal lives despite having physical and/or mental disabilities. They also discussed how the Americans with disabilities act makes sure that everyone has access to public buildings.
Students will be asked to see Mrs. Fulton between 7:50-8:00am to pick up their tag and a half sheet for each teacher to initial. Teaches will indicate if they observe the student using their missing arm. The tags and sheets will be dropped at Mrs. Fulton’s class after 2:53 pm.
