We will be holding the canned food drive the week before Thanksgiving (Monday, November 13 – Friday, November 17) in coordination with Edsel Ford since they are competing with the other high schools in a Battle Against Hunger.This year, Edsel Ford was invited to do Battle Against Hunger with DHS and Fordson. The district goal is to collect 100,000 cans of nonperishable food to donate to Gleaners. fWe need your help! Each of the 3 high schools and their feeders are competing to collect the most cans.
Stout, Smith, and Salina will count towards Edsel Ford’s total, and so this Friday, Nov. 10th, a group of dedicated link crew students from Edsel Ford will come into Stout teachers’ classrooms between 8:00 am and 9:00 am and share a short 2-4 minute presentation to advertise this competition to our students.
