For students who walk to school, the cross-walk at Oakwood and Hollywood is currently closed. Until the crosswalk re-opens, students will need to walk south on Oakwood and cross at the pedestrian crossing in front of the hospital. This is the only other location where students will be able to safely cross Oakwood. The crossing guard has temporarily been relocated to the pedestrian crossing in front of the hospital as well. We are hoping that the crosswalk will re-open soon. However, students will likely need to follow this route again this afternoon (Friday).
Construction work on Oakwood also continues to affect entry into and exit from the north park lot (on the Rotunda-side of the school). The circle drive in front of Stout is still not accessible. Vehicles can enter the north parking lot through the middle driveway and exit through the driveway closest to Rotunda. Please note that the entrance and exit to the north parking lot are both one way only.
Pick-up time has been challenging as there are more parents than usual picking up their students in the parking lot. When picking up your child, please park in a parking space. Parking in areas that are not designated for parking makes it difficult for buses and other parents to access the parking lot and can also create unsafe conditions.
