STOUT MIDDLE SCHOOL

Stout Summer Discovery Program Starts on Monday, June 23, 2025!

We are so excited to see you at Stout next week to kick off the Stout-Smith Summer Discovery Program! The first day of the Stout-Smith Summer Discovery Program will be on Monday, June 23, 2025. May the fun begin!

Transportation Information:

  • An office staff member (Mrs. Latife) contacted all of the rising 6thgrade students from the elementary schools (students who were in 5th grade this past school year) and gave parents the bus location and time of the bus pick up in the morning.
  • If you did not receive a call or are unsure of the transportation pick up information, please contact the Stout main office manager at 313 827-4600 and we will gladly assist you.
  • All students who are normally “walkers”to O.L. Smith (current 5th, 6th and 7th) will need to be at O.L. Smith School at 8:15 AM because the bus will leave at 8:20 AM sharp.

Time of the Summer Program

  • Breakfast will be served to students from 8:30am-9:00am. Instructional time is from 9:00-3:20. The students will board the bus from Stout between 3:20-3:30.

We have a very fun thematic summer program with field trips, Exotic Zoo presentation, ZEE the Cook Student Bake-Off, and much more in store for our students!
